Former Professional Equestrian Finds Vehicle for Change With Isagenix
Nicola has always been a go-getter. This former Sales and Marketing Director of a European apparel company, and professional equestrian, was financially sound before Isagenix, but had been looking for an opportunity for residual income.
“I didn’t want to have employees anymore. I’ve done a lot of small-business consulting, and I didn’t want to trade time for dollars,” said Nicola.
Then, one of her clients introduced her to Isagenix. At first, Nicola wasn’t open to the idea of network marketing, but after six months, she decided to give the products a try, and discovered definite improvements in her health.
Her Lightbulb Moment
During her first experience with the 30-Day Cleansing and Fat Burning System, Nicola admits that she thought the products were too good to be true. “I thought it had to be illegal because I felt so great. I remember calling my enrolling sponsor and saying, ‘Okay, this company is going to get shut down because there’s got to be something stimulating in here,’” she shares.
Not too long after, she reviewed the Isagenix website and compensation plan, read network marketing books and had an honest discussion with a successful Isagenix Associate that put her concerns to bed.
Nicola explains, “I pretty much knew then that I was going to do this. Then I went to an IsaU training. The business model made a lot of sense to me, but I had no experience with network marketing and had no idea how long it was going to take me to generate a six-figure income in order for me to dive in full time. I just knew that this was what I wanted to do.”
By learning how to work with a team and structuring her goals, Nicola made $100,000** in her first year with Isagenix.
With deep gratitude to Jim and Kathy Coover, John Anderson and her team, Nicola notes, “I think every day, ‘Who can I help today?’ and Isagenix is that vehicle. I feel at the end of the day I’m making a difference in people’s lives whether it’s with their health or their finances. It’s created a lot of purpose for me, and it feels good to live with purpose.”

Nicola’s Tips for Success
• Product experience is really, really important. Tell prospects, “I could talk to you for two hours about what Isagenix is and we could go molecular on these products. But at the end of the day, the only way you’re going to really believe what I’m telling you is through personal experience, so I suggest you try it for 30 days, put it to the test, and let’s have a conversation along the way.” People like that approach because it’s not a pressure sale.
• You have to do very simple steps, but you have to do them daily. Don’t overwhelm people with too much at once; educate along the way. If someone is interested in the business, tell them the first step on how to break into the commission.

*Weight loss should not be considered typical. In a study performed in 2012 by University of Illinois at Chicago researchers, subjects lost an average of 9 pounds with an average of 2 pounds of the loss from visceral fat after 30 days on an Isagenix system. The subjects also had a greater level of adherence and had more consistent weight loss from week to week compared to subjects on a traditional diet.
